Big Dreams in Progress. Kristyn Marie Photography

I'm beyond excited to share that I will be taking Kristyn Marie Photography on full time!  I started doing photography 5 years ago when my youngest daughter was born.  When she was born I knew what kind of pictures I liked and didn't want to pay and arm and a leg for them.  I had always had a creative bone and had done photography growing up.  I wanted to be able to offer my clients the same things that I knew I wanted... to be able to have the important memories captured, to get a CD with all of the photos to be able to use for years to come, and to not break the bank in the process.  I have been so lucky to have repeat business time and time again throughout the past 5 years and I wouldn't be able to leave my job that I have had for 10 years as a recruiter/sales if it wasn't for the support of my husband, family, friends, and of course, my CLIENTS!  Thank you doesn't do enough justice.    I'm so excited to be able to spend more time with my two kiddos and continue to offer other families affordable photos/high quality photos.  I can't wait to get to kick off my shoes and capture the memories that go by way to fast with you and your family.

I had so much fun with this laid back couple!  We ventured down to the Botanical Gardens in south Overland Park.  They will be heading out of state in a few months for their destination wedding, and I can't wait to shoot their Kansas City party when they return.  They had some very specific instructions for me that we had to avoid "awkward" looking poses... I think we did just that.  You can see the love/excitement pouring through.  Congratulations Caryn and Dave.... happy planning!

I love senior shoots!  There were so many great photos from this shoot, I wish I could share them all! From the corn fields to the West Bottoms in Kansas City...so much diversity.  Congratulations Victoria!

Corrigan Family. Spring 2014

It doesn't get much better than getting the opportunity to capture the spirit of a family....especially one that is so near and dear to your heart.  I had the chance a few weeks ago to do just that when I took pictures for one of my college best friends and her family.  Things have definitely changed since our days at KU back in the sorority!  I'm so glad I have been able to watch their family grow and see them become amazing parents.  Love you Corrigan family!

Welcome Lucy! Newborn.

It was so fun getting to know another new family!  This mommy and daddy were definitely sleep deprived, but they had the best "go with the flow" personality and so did sweet Lucy.  Thank you for letting me capture your sweet baby girl!

Webb Family

I have been shooting the Webb family for 5 years now.  It has been so much fun to watch them grow from a family of two to a family of FOUR!  Their sweet girls are so full of energy, it made it a fun Saturday morning to shoot.  Here are a couple of my favorites!
